Elevate is a high-energy, welcoming spiritual family where we exalt Jesus, edify one another, and engage the world around us. We are the student ministry of Living Word Church gathering at the building called The Lighthouse. Youth of many different races, economic backgrounds and interests call Elevate home, and every aspect of the passionate music, Bible-anchored messages, crazy games, and dynamic events have a singular purpose – to elevate Jesus.

OUR VALUES

With God’s help we:
Passion for Scripture – We believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God. Its primary purposes are to give Him glory and reveal Him to us. We find joy in studying, learning, and allowing Him to direct our lives.   

Welcome in Care – We strive for a culture which reflects the love of Jesus. Elevate is a branch of God’s family pursuing to edify and encourage one another, welcoming the friend and the stranger.
 
Disciple Students – We aspire to grow in the knowledge of Jesus so that being led, we can lead, and being taught, we can teach. Students are discipled by Spirit-led leaders with the truth of God’s Word to grow, to serve, and to lead.

OUR LEADERS

Dominick and Jacqueline Farone

Those things which are closest to Dominick's heart are his faith in Jesus and his family. Dominick is the adoring husband of Jacqueline and father of Dominick III, Nadia, Silas, Elliyana, and Judah. 

Born in California, he spent his childhood traveling with his evangelist parents. They settled in Bastrop, LA to build an inner-city youth ministry to underprivileged kids. After high school, he attended Oral Roberts University graduating with a major in theology and minor in youth ministry. While at ORU, he served as part-time youth pastor of a Korean church. During the summers he served as a room counselor at Kings Camp, Mer Rouge, LA. These two opportunities cemented his love for teaching students about Jesus.

He met Jacqueline while serving at Kings Camp. She grew up in LWC with Meco and Pat Carlos as her youth pastors and serving at Hope Extreme. After marrying Dominick, she has been his right-hand woman in ministry serving teens and their families in Oklahoma, Florida, and Louisiana. While in Florida, God called her to volunteer at the Pregnancy Resource Center mentoring girls with unexpected pregnancies.

• Degree from ORU in Theology and Youth Ministry
• 17 years in Youth Ministry
• Trained in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, AED
• CDL (Class B) Licensed
• Certified by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
• Loves dogs

Elevate Leaders

We must give a shout-out to our amazing leaders. They facilitate discussion groups after most Elevate services which are grade and gender specific. They are trained and dedicated to connect students to each other and to  Jesus and strive to see the Elevate values become reality. It’s because of them Elevate is a home to teens from all over the community.
