Elevate Student Conference '25

Elevate Student Conference is our Back-To-School weekend retreat. From Friday evening through Sunday morning, students will be immersed in scripture, fellowship, and fun. On the Friday and Saturday nights, they'll sleep at host homes of faithful members in the church. This is an excellent event for new and current students to build relationships with each other, with their Elevate leaders, and (the ultimate goal) with Jesus.
Who: 7th-12th grades (12-18 y/o)
When: August 22nd-24th
Where: Living Word Church + SURGE, Metairie + Host Homes
How Much: $50 per student
Deadline for registration: Mon., August 18th
Why: Today, there are 310 million Christians experiencing "very high" or "extreme" persecution. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ - our family. At ESC25, we'll focus on what we can learn from the Underground Church around the world and begin praying for them.
We'll spend three sessions considering their faith and growing in ours.
On Saturday, we'll travel to Metairie for lunch at the mall, Beignets at Cafe Du Monde, and unlimited play at SURGE Entertainment (by Drew Brees), then the event will wrap up with attending Sunday morning service together at LWC.

Important:
1. Students will submit all phones & electronics (yes, smart watches) to their leaders on Friday night and receive them back on Sunday morning. We are hoping to separate from electronics and screens for face-to-face relationship building. All leader's numbers will be posted in GroupMe so you can contact them at any point.
2. Students will buy their own lunch at the mall food court on Saturday. They'll need to bring a little money for that. All other costs are covered in the cost of ESC.
